Based in Madison, Wisconsin, with musical influences from Chicago and Ireland, Kara Rogers delights audiences with the driving rhythms and haunting melodies native to traditional Irish music played on the concertina. Kara is available as a soloist on concertina, as part of Tit For Tat (with her two sons on fiddle), or as part of The Lilies of the Midwest, a trio of Irish traditional musicians in the Madison, WI area. As part of these trios, the instrumental blend with the concertina brings out the joy and energy of the music of Ireland.
